Hello fellow geeks! Join us for an in person Quiz at the Secular Hall bringing everyone together for a night of laughs, chat and fun.
While we wait for things to get back to normal and our venue the Phoenix to be ready we’re trying ‘mini everything events’ and events requested by you at our second venue, the Secular Hall. For August it’s Quiz time! Bring snacks, and brains for a laugh and prizes! (An awesome selection of geeky merchandise or vouchers for forbidden planet)
Tonight: Doors open 6:30pm Quiz starts 7:15pm, teams made on the night or bring a team (max 4)
- Bring your own snacks (with access to tea facilities)
- Bring your own pen and paper if you’d prefer
- Golden badges and mugs will be available if you haven’t collected yet
- Earn another event towards your 2022 Golden Club Badge.
- Chill table for chatter/games if quizzes aren’t your thing
Covid changes:
We will be doing everything in our power to keep people safe and don’t worry if you don’t feel up to it we’ll be around for many years to come and still have online events. But do please keep an eye out for any changes. If you prefer to stay home our discord is always open too.
- Limited to 25 people + the captain

- Please only attend if you feel 100% well and have had both vaccines (venue request) bring proof.
- Hand sanitizer will be provided but you’re welcome to bring your own
- Masks are recommended inside (except with medical exemption), we will have windows open where possible (bring a coat)

- Over 16’s only (16 and 17 year olds to bring an adult)
- Free, donations in person or online welcome to help pay for venue and prizes (https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/starbaseleicester) please select “sending to friend or family” as we are not a business. The venue currently costs £35 a time
