Mini Birthday Gathering

Happy Birthday StarBase Leicester!

Hello fellow geeks! Join us for our birthday mini birthday gathering as we test out meeting in person again.

We are returning to in person events in time for our birthday! This year we turn an amazing 16!!! So how better to celebrate after the tough year than a mini gathering with friends! We’ll be doing everything in our power to keep people safe and don’t worry if you don’t feel up to it we’ll be around for many years to come and still have online events.

Things tonight:

• Hello’s and chatting, real life humans, music, geeky conversation starters
• Golden 2020 badges, special 2020 mugs and golden 2021 badges will be awarded
• Bring your own snacks… think DIY birthday indoor picnic (with access to tea facilities)
• Bring your own games, doodle pads, etc (a small selection will be available)
• ((No balloons will be present))
• doors open 6:30pm, event start 7pm

Covid changes:

• Limited to 20 people + the captain. Eventbrite tickets required (access code for tickets SBLreturns), first come first served, if spaces available on the night no ticket required. Get free tickets here
• Please only attend if you have had both vaccines (venue request) bring proof if able
• Hand sanitizer will be provided but you’re welcome to bring your own
• Masks optional , we will have windows open where possible
• We will be taking contact details on the door for covid secureness

More Important details:

• Over 16’s only (16 and 17 year olds to bring an adult)
• Free, donations welcome to help pay for the venue
• Games and equipment brought at own risk, we’ve never had anything broken/lost! but do keep an eye on whatever you bring
