StarBase Leicester Away mission: National Film and SCIFI Museum

Join us as we check out The National Film and Sci-Fi Museum… how have we never been as a club! They even have a gaming bunker and lego space… check out the site to see if it’s you’re kind of adventure! 

We’ll be contacting the museum to discuss group rates or you can buy your own online or on the day (but it may reach capacity). Watch this space for more details!

Cost: (to be paid by members)

Adult (Age 16+): £14.50*
Child (Age 5-15): £9.50*
Family (2 adults, 2 children OR 1 adult, 3 children): £46.00*
Concessions (65+ or Students): £12.50*

*All tickets are subject to a booking fee and extra charges for the pixel bunker and Lego Brickz toy museum

Location:34 Secklow Gate West, Milton Keynes, MK9 3AT

Travel: Meet at the museum for 11am 

• If you plan to drive and have spare seats PLEASE let others know if you want to share same if you plan to split a taxi captain can coordinate 
• Coach and Bus combo: National express (£10.30- £10.80) 8:25 am or 9:20am followed by a bus – latter cuts it very fine – travel time 1h36ish
  
• Train and bus/ walk combo: train (£49.30) 8:50am 1 change, and either a bus or 30min walk – travel time 1h35ish
• Taxi estimate RETURN for 4 is £250 (£62.50 each), 6-8 is £375 (£46.88 each if 8 travellers), leave Leicester 9-9:30
• CARS: Let the captain know if you can come, have a car and spare seats.

PLEASE confirm attendance with the captain to aid safety checks with travel/arrival etc and any possible group rates. Prices estimates as of 02/05/2026

• Over 18’s only – but this is a public venue and children will be about /welcome, the club simply cannot take responsibility for any under 18’s
