StarBase Leicester: Creative Writing and Art (with tea and biscuits!)

Join us for an in person, relaxed, friendly gathering to explore creative writing and art (or to simply say hi and chill with friends)

Hello geeks!

February is the return of Creative writing and art night! Your chance to find your creative gene with several activities to choose from or share things you’ve already made. If you’re not the creative kind there will always be space for saying hi and chatting with friends at StarBase Leicester.

Things tonight:

• Chatting with real life humans
• Bring your own crafts, art, writing, models to paint,
• Creative writing activities to try with a geek twist of course (ever written your own choose your own adventure? or an alphabet story? or played with story dice?)
• Book swap (bring a book you’ve finished with and take a book home to try)
• Snacks welcome (with access to tea facilities and microwave. No alcohol at the venue please)
• Doors open 6:30pm, official event start 7:15pm
• Earn another event towards your 2023 Golden Club Badge.

Covid changes: We will be doing everything in our power to keep people safe with hand sanitizer and fresh air and the reminder to only attend if well.  

• Limited to 20 people + the captain
• Please do not bring games/gadgets that require excessive physical contact (e.g. VR or that strange plastic thing in mouth game)
• Eventbrite tickets required, first come first served, if spaces available on the night no ticket required. Access code SBLGEEKS.

• Over 16’s only (16 and 17 year olds to bring an adult)
