Here at StarBase Leicester we like to hunt out all the great geek events be they big or small. This one may or may not be geek but its at our home away from home the Phoenix and so far its been a sell out! grab tickets fast.
Join us as we voyage into the unknown with our mystery film night!
Since starting our Mystery Film nights last year we’ve shown a variety of brilliant cinema, from Tsukamoto’s A Snake of June to Scorsese’s Mean Streets on 35mm, Cronenberg’s Existenz to New Zealand comedy Eagle Vs Shark. It could be a new digital restoration, a 35mm print of an old classic or a rare theatrical outing for a film you’ve never had the chance to see on the big screen.
No-one − and we mean, no-one − knows what we’re screening until the film begins, but you can trust that it’ll be great cinema!
The Mystery Film may be any classification up to an 18 certificate. As such, these screenings are for over-18s only.
