Hello fellow geeks! Join us for our first in person event of 2022 with games and friends.
Welcome to 2022 that we hope will get better and better as we can do more events! This is our traditional new year event showing off gifts and games we received or treated ourselves to over the festive period. It will be a small relaxed gathering for the first 20 people to get tickets, a chance to say hello and start the new year with friends.
We will be doing everything in our power to keep people safe and don’t worry if you don’t feel up to it we’ll be around for many years to come and still have online events. But do please keep an eye out for any changes. As with last months event things may change last minute depending on COVID.
Things tonight:
- Hello’s and chatting, real life humans
- Bring your own games/ gadgets
- Bring your own snacks (with access to tea facilities)
- Doors open 6:30pm, official event start 7:15pm
- Golden badges and mugs if you haven’t collected yet
- Earn another event towards your 2022 Golden Club Badge.
Covid changes:
- Limited to 20 people + the captain

- Please only attend if you feel 100% well and have had both vaccines (venue request) bring proof.
- Hand sanitizer will be provided but you’re welcome to bring your own
- Masks MUST be worn inside (except with medical exemption), we will have windows open where possible (bring a coat)
- We will be taking contact details on the door for covid secureness

- Over 16’s only (16 and 17 year olds to bring an adult)
- Free, donations in person or online welcome to help pay for venue and prizes (https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/starbaseleicester) please select “sending to friend or family” as we are not a business and add a note if it’s for minecraft or general club things. The venue currently costs £35 a time
