Hello fellow geeks and Happy 2024!
This is our traditional new year event showing off and trying out gifts and games we received or treated ourselves to over the festive period and a chance to say hello and start the new year with friends. So why not join us and have a great night to start 2024.
Things tonight:
- Hello’s and chatting, real life humans
- Bring your own games/ gadgets anything you’d like to “show and tell”
- Snacks welcome (with access to tea facilities and microwave. No alcohol at the venue please)
- Captain’s conversation starters and a chance to share this years objectives, missions, hopes and book/movie list! HaHa!
- Doors open 6:30pm
- Earn another event towards your 2024 Golden Club Badge.
Covid changes: We will be doing everything in our power to keep people safe with hand sanitizer and fresh air and the reminder to only attend if well.
- Limited to 25people + the captain
- Please do not bring games/gadgets that require excessive physical contact (e.g. VR or that strange plastic thing in mouth game)
- Eventbrite tickets not vital but help with keeping track of numbers, Access code is SBLGEEKS.
- Please only attend if you feel 100% well/usual
- Hand sanitizer will be provided and you’re welcome to bring your own
- We will be taking contact details for covid secureness
