StarBase Leicester Quiz! In person!

While we wait for the Phoenix to reopen we’re brining you ‘mini’ events to get used to being out and about again. Full StarBase Leicester events like pre-covid members will remember, will start again in 2023 (We can’t wait!).

For November it’s Quiz time! Bring snacks, and brains and we’ll provide the laughs and prizes! (an awesome collection of geek merchandise or Forbidden planet vouchers!)

Tonight:  Doors open 6:30pm Quiz starts 7:15pm Teams made on the night or bring a team (max 4)
• Bring your own snacks (with access to tea facilities, microwave and fridge)
• All going well with the tech we’ll be using a digital quiz on phones/tabs so bring a charged device and a powerbank/cable
• Bring your own pen and paper if you’d prefer
• Golden badges and mugs will be available if you haven’t collected yet
• Earn another event towards your 2023 Golden Club Badge.

We will be doing everything in our power to keep people safe and don’t worry if you don’t feel up to it we’ll be around for many years to come and still have online events. But do please keep an eye out for any changes. If you prefer to stay home our discord is always open too.

Covid changes:
• Limited to 25 people + the captain
• Ticket code is SBLreturns and they can be found at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/starbase-leicester-8420429272 no ticket required on the night space permitting
• Please only attend if you feel 100% well and have had both vaccines (venue request) bring proof.
• Hand sanitizer will be provided but you’re welcome to bring your own
• Masks recommended to be worn inside (except with medical exemption), we will have windows open where possible
• We will be taking contact details on the door for covid secureness

Other Important details:
• Over 16’s only (16 and 17 year olds to bring an adult)
• Free, donations in person or online welcome to help pay for venue and prizes (https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/starbaseleicester) please select “sending to friend or family” as we are not a business. The venue currently costs £35 a time
