    Great friends, food and the great outdoors! Not to mention a dragon or two.  Join us for the annual club treasure hunt and picnic, both are totally optional so you can pick either or both!

    Calling all StarBase adventurers! The SBL Book Dragon has an important quest for you!
    The young dragonlings have hatched, and we need you to take them on an epic adventure around the city of Leicester to gain experience points and level up. The team with the highest level dragonling by the end of the treasure hunt will win a prize, there are many different ways to gain experience and level up, what will your band of adventures choose? Will you focus on showing your dragonling the art of Leicester? Finding dragons in the wild? Or will your band of adventurers focus on tasks that award bonus points? Come along to the StarBase Treasure Hunt and Picnic on Saturday 23 August, meeting at the Clock Tower at 11.30am
    Things today:
    • 11:30- 13:30 a brand new treasure hunt! Meet at the clock tower
    • 13:30 onwards Picnic time! Bring your own food/drink, and something to share if you like then meet at Victoria park. Make sure the captain has your details to send the what3words location chosen on the day (inside Victoria park). Balls, frisbees etc all welcome too

    Important Details: 

    • Please only attend if you feel 100% well/usual
    • Over 18’s only, though we are in a public space and there will be kids and dogs etc not part of the club
    • Hand sanitizer will be provided and you’re welcome to bring your own

    Transport?

    Both bus stations are less than 5 minutes from the clock tower. Busses from town to Victoria Park include 31/31a from the Haymarket and 22, 22a from Charles street. Walking is certainly an option too

    Can I provide my own food?

    YES, this is a bring your own food/drink (no alcohol) event to help look after your budget and that of the club.

    Can I bring my dog?

    It’s a public park so yes, but keep in mind if taking part in the treasure hunt many places in the centre do not allow dogs

    Can I bring my children?

    StarBase Leicester is 18+ only as we can take no responsibility for minors.
