7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Location
Barley Mow, Leicester
Our SuperHero Night at The Barley Mow was a ‘Super’ experience for one and all. It took us the best part of an hour to set up and learn how to play Heroclix, but thankfully Michael from the Leicester HeroClix Club came along to run the game for us, based around a scenario with the Joker planting bombs around a city. He brought us a selection of maps and some heroes/villains to play with and acted as referee/puppetmaster. In the end, the Kamikaze villains won over the heroes. The rest of the night was taken up with games of MarioKart and Goldeneye on the N64 and a flurry of battles via the medium of Top Trumps, kindly lent to us by one of the barstaff. We also had an unexpected visitation of one of the members of the scifi group in Leicester, The Outlanders(See Links page for details).
